about BEAKS Longgrove

Crochet in detail: hook and yarn

Why crocheted bags?

Due to the special way the stitches are formed, each piece of crochet can only be created by hand and is therefore a unique piece. Industrial mass production is not possible. Therefore, in contrast to knitting and weaving machines, there are still no crochet machines.

And that makes every single crocheted bag from BEAKS LONGGROVE so unique.

Where and how produced?

Regional Manufactory

From the design to the finished bags, we produce regionally in the Rhine-Main area. Therefore, the transport routes from our manufactory to your home are short.

Sustainable materials

Yarns and fabrics made of natural materials such as cotton, cellulose or leather are used as far as possible. For blended yarns that contain synthetic fibers, we make sure that the synthetic fiber is made from recycled materials.

No waste during production

Except for a few centimetres of yarn at the beginning and at the end of a crocheted piece, there is no waste. Due to the geometric shapes, waste can also be largely avoided when manufacturing the linings.

Environmentally friendly care

If the bags get dirty, they can be wiped with a damp cloth. Some can even be washed. However, drying in a tumble dryer is taboo for our bags – see care instructions.

Reusability

Do you no longer like the shape and pattern of the bag you bought from us or are they not stylish anymore? No problem! All crocheted parts of the bag can be unraveled, the yarn washed and a new bag created*.

Contact us and together we will consider what your new bag should look like. We tell you the costs and the delivery time and you decide if you can look forward to a bag in a new design soon.

You can also send your bag back to us*. We determine the current material value and pay this out to you. New bags are then created from the yarn. You will find a corresponding note in the descriptions of our bags in the shop.

*The crocheted pieces must not have any damage or stains that cannot be washed out.

High quality

The yarn ends are sewn invisibly by hand on the back of the crocheted piece and additionally secured. If, despite the great care, something comes loose, please contact us.
